First project for my children's book class, fully illustrated page out of an existing fairy tale. This is from a shorted form of Thumbelina, the scene where the sparrow takes her away from her situation of having to marry the dull flower-hating mole. This one's a two page spread, I REALLY wanted to do some scene with the sparrow, prefereably an in flight one. ^^ Sometimes I wish the story would have ended here; "the sparrow spirited Thumbelina away from the Mole and Mouse, and they lived happily ever after having adventure after adventure flying about the wide beatiful world as free spirits."
